Judge Dredd? 🎈

Has anyone seen the movie/read the comics of it?
My uncle, John Wagner is one of the writers.
He told me there's another movie coming out in September (yes, there was a movie made in the 90's). -

Yep I have several Dredd props. The new Dredd looks promising.

I loved the comics. Strontium dog was another great from that stable.

Comics were tolerable, but the movie was just stupid. It was trying wayyyy to hard to be fifth element.... Even if that came out after... I'm not gonna check.

Dredd is a good concept, but Stallone was a bad choice. A reboot may work, if he's not the star. I'm also curious what the new Total Recall will be like later this year without Arnold to make it campy...

Judge dredd in general is just such a one dimensional character. I mean even in the comics when he's struggling with moral dilemmas or the aftermath of difficult life altering choices, he doesn't even seem to grow from the outcomes. Like for example, dredd decides to uphold the law, yet let's his enemy get away. He seems to question and show flashes of possible regret for about two-three frames, then it goes back to business as usual. Same old dredd.Dredd is a good concept, but Stallone was a bad choice. The problem with him is from the moment Dredd is introduced he is already a over zealous Judge with a one track mind. There's no development.
But then again I'm just rambling. Spawn is like Dredd..
