A BIG "thank you" to my TW family!
Forums › General Discussion › A BIG "thank you" to my TW family!-
Yesterday we laid my grandmother to rest. She was 89 years old and lived a full, wonderful life. Her husband Tom passed away ten years ago and the last few months had been pretty rough. Her passing was a blessing as she is no longer suffering. I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone in my TW family for their support, prayers, and well wishes. You guys and gals are an amazing group of people! I never thought I could recieve so much comfort from people I've never actually met! please take this time to remember that "the douchebag that capped my turf" is a person and that this is just a game! Please feel free to remember your lost loved ones here!
R.i.p Elisabeth "Betty" Edwards
You were the kind of grandma they made black and white tv shows about! -

Glad your not greiving over the lost. In my opinion you are doing the right thing, looking at te bright side of things. If your happy I bet she will be happy for you. Good luck and I wish you the best for the future 👍

My grandma had a stroke a few weeks ago. She's doing very well, but she needs constant attention according to my mom (overpretective much?) and my mom yells at my grandpa for leaving her alone to buy food. Glad you arent taking your grandma's death too hard.

So sorry about your grandma, but as you said "her passing was a blessing as she is no longer suffering". My grandma can be kind of a cook sometimes... One time she ran over a cat, and when she looked in her rearveiw mirror she saw the cat was still alive, so she ran back over it to put it out of its misery. In retrospect she says "what if that cat was hitler in a second life?"!!!!!

R.I.P to my great grandmother "Betty" edwards, to my grandmother Lita edelmann , to the greatest uncle I never met JAW love, and to those who have also passed on and were not mentioned here, I will see you all on the other side 🙏

I'm happy for her, sad for me. For me to be anything else would be selfish! I can't bring her back but I can let her live through modeling myself after her morals and remembering our times together...but honestly, this thread was a TRIBUTE TO YOU GUYS! For a bunch of Capp happy, forum trolling, capo stealing, vendetta joining, turf warring mobsters, you people are some damn fine folks! The forums, your jokes and stories, and the different personalities that come together have kept me occupied and laughing hysterically during an otherwise stressful time.

I'm so sorry I didn't know about this. You know you have my full support bro. I must have missed the thread about it. I'm glad you are able to have such a positive outlook on things. And I'm glad she's finally in a better place my friend 💚

Sorry raikou, I never made a thread about it bc I wanted to laugh WITH you guys (and at some of you!) the only reason I made one after her passing is to thank everybody for just being themselves and helping me through a time where I NEEDED to separate myself from RL for a bit...now that things are settled and it's back to business as usual, I just wanted everyone to stop and think how they about how they affect people wether they know it or not. And again to say thank you.I'm so sorry I didn't know about this. You know you have my full support bro. I must have missed the thread about it. I'm glad you are able to have such a positive outlook on things. And I'm glad she's finally in a better place my friend 💚
