It's not really about getting upset about it... It's following what the devs ask of us. Yes it is irritating at times, because people are ignorant.
If people are posting 'add me' codes in GD, it's generally because they're pimping a code.If add:[insertnamehere] post a thread not relating to adding a code, one would like to hope it's going to be a thread of general interest.
For someone who apparently has no concerns about said rule, you sure are milkIng an empty udder! 😝

Ok. Last time y'all. Section G, last paragraph. It doesn't get any more explicit than that.El Chubaneebre wrote:
Request, rules, tomato...No, it clearly 'requests' not to post codes on the forum sub header. I don't have a problem with restricting code posting as I have said. And it would be a small addition to the TOS. However why ban for including your code in an 'on topic' post and not for having 'add' in your post name?
The devs request not to post codes is simple. Nothing complex there.
Adding the explicit wording in the TOS would make no difference. If people can't read a simple sub header before posting, the chances of them reading the TOS are slim at best.

Having add in your name requires 100 don points. Posting your code in the forums does not require don points. It also says don't do it. I'd like to see a big crackdown on trolling. 👊 I'm sure it makes it difficult to be creative, when you're constantly having to ban people for being obnoxious. If you are a troll, you get what deserve. 🔨

The problem isn't searching the forums. It's noobs realizing that someone posted a thread that got alot of replies. They want the same attention so they wait a day and post the exact same thread. If you think a topic is important enough to post then it's important enough to go back at least 5-6 pages and see if there's the thread there. Most the stupid post we continue to see are on Every page! Go back 3 or 4 and you'll see at least 2 Xbox/ps3 debates. They get posted atleast once a day.

👆what Billy said
There's a bunch of little monkeys that like to do what the other monkeys have success with.

You're probably right I won't MAKE any more posts on this thread after this. Buy some points and MAKE my own add name. I wonder if the swagger fight lists counted as posting codes? it was obviously on topic and just happened to contain codes. My point is it can't be black and white, there must be room for grey.
Just post your code and move on - get banned.
Contribute to the topic and include your code - should be ok
