There will be no quick solution to this madness believe me. The opposition are completely unsupported and Bashar al-Assad is supported internationally by Russia and China. Until that changes, expect to hear of more blood-shed. Just came back from Lebanon and the situation there is less than hopeless.

Yeah it's sad. Russia and china have a lot of blood on their hands, after vetoing at the security council the other week.
Im reminded of the Srebrenica massacre, when I think of the UN messing up this opportunity to protect so many civilians lives.
