Any clever jailbreakers out there know an easy way to unlock different network carriers on a 3GS 5.0.1 I've just bricked this phone by accident and lost all my apps and all my mx tube which is gonna take ages to get back , pretty much for no success !! Any ideas would be much apreciated !! Thanks

It was on greenpoison 4.1 before and it bricked , ( stuck on apple screen ) then I couldn't restore because I tunes was old after downloading the 4. Something firmware waiting for 70 mins on shit Internet only to have to download new iTunes and 5.0.1 with shit internet. Bollocks.
Only to have a nightmare hactivating it to get to cydia to see that ultrasn0w is fucked ! Myyyyyyyy Gaaaaaaad !

You shouldn't have put iOS5 on a 3GS mate. That shit is slow as hell!

Download sn0wbreeze, start it and follow the link to download an earlier IPSW. Follow guide and re-install. I'd stick with iOS 4.

It's running fine on 5 but I've got all the shsh files backed up back to 3.1.3 if that helps ! Need to unlock the carrier though without taking it to a shop and spending my dinner money on it :(
