I remember when I was about three years old, my parents took my sister and me to live in another state. The old Dodge truck had a top speed of 80km/h, and the trip took a total of seven long days.
Of course, feeding a baby and a toddler wasn't easy on the road: mum fed my sister, and dad cooked for me. A can of baked beans on the truck engine, another ten kilometres of desert, and my dinner was cooked.
Way to go, Dad. There's a lesson on ingenuity for all the little kids and city folk of these days! 👍
