Your views on Nazi era Germany

Pro-Hitler my ass, the man was a monster that deserved to be wiped off the face of the earth hundreds of millions of times over for what he did. The only things that can be said good about this monster was that he gave an entire nation a purpose, pulled it up by its bootstraps and rebuilt an economic base that not only brought it back from the devastation of WW1, but made it a world power in a few decades. The man was everything bad in humanity, deserves demonization until the end of eternity and hopefully is burning even longer, but there were things he did for the country of Germany that were good for the country.

The only mistake they've made which caused Germany to lose the war was the fact that they were fighting off two fronts, Russia and the USA. If they weren't, I honestly can not tell for sure whether I'd be talking German now or not.
I am living in Belgium. And as a matter of fact, my great great grandfather was fighting off the Germans in trenches along with the Belgian king of that time, which I find pretty amazing.

Hitler was just a man of great charisma an the front of the Nazi party. He was a sick twisted man brought upon largely by being abused by his father as a child and also his dislike for the Jews largely came from propaganda he read as a child demonising them as greedy.
All the great things Germany achieved they achieved by capturing leading scientists and non of them should be accredited to Hitler. He is one of the worst humans to ever walk the earth and inevitably his weak state of mind was his downfall. -

People jumping on your back should take a look at the atrosities committed by the UK and the US over the last 10 years. We have fought an illegal war that killed thousands of innocent civilians as well as supply half of the evil dictators in the middle east with arms that they now use to massacre their populace.I think a better question is, do you see any similarities with America now and Germany in the early 30s?
Comparing this to early 30's Germany is an over-exaggeration. But don't be brainwashed by the demonisation of characters our current goverment uses in order to invade countries for cheaper oil. -
What people forget is that Hitler was of jewish descent - Hitler was not their original last name, there was a mistake in record making during (I believe it was his grandfather) a period of transition and the name Hitler was recorded.

Yes I know that part. Also he was not even German but Austrian so he was controlling a race of people who he thought were superior when he himself was not even a German, yet alone the superior 'Aryan' which were tall, blond, and blue-eyed people with white skin. What people forget is that Hitler was of jewish descent - Hitler was not their original last name, there was a mistake in record making during (I believe it was his grandfather) a period of transition and the name Hitler was recorded.

Eugenics, mass population control. Total and utter police state a regulation of everything through a military industrial complex. Starting false flag attacks to blame it on enemies. Hmmm sounds familiar.

Are you serious?WWII was absolutely necessary. The technological advancements that resulted from it are astonishing. We went from no powered flight to jet powered flight in 40 years. We developed the computer and the Internet as well as television and UAVs. It is what led to the MASSIVE flood of technology during the Cold War. And Stalin killed more jews than hitler.
I am not arguing that many technologies came from war, necessity is the mother of invention, and what better necessity than that of living.
Powered flight was not only in existence prior to ww2, it was thriving. Air mail was doing great, air traffic control was expanding rapidly, air travel was gaining popularity. Working models of the jet engine were even in existence, they just hadn't received the r&d to make them viable power plants.
To group the Internet, tv, and UAV's in with "inventions of ww2" is one of the largest leaps of logic one could make.

They invaded, hmm, let me see, 4,5? We have invaded two. You see, you aren't saying why we did all of this, because you probably think that Germany is just a horrible country. They did what they did because of a few people at the top of country, not because they all wanted to, but they all lived in fear. And dont insult my great-grandfather. He amazingly got through the war, and moved to America. Do you cant say there are any similarities, because we did them for separate reasons. So screw you.How many countries did Germany invade? How many have we invaded?

Well the Nazis were the bad people. The German people living in Nazi era Germany were far too scared to speak out or mostly anyways. Just speaking out against the Nazi could get you killed and the Nazi would not care who they killed regardless if they were under 18 or older or any over type of person. Speak out and getting caught was an almost guaranteed death sentence.

Too bad for you the Supreme Court has ruled those checkpoints Constitutional. They are BP checkpoints within 100 miles of the border, nothing unconstitutional about them. Only extremist that are bent on far right and far left ideas ever say that. You do realize that in several places in America they have begun unconstitutional road blocks to ask for id.
In Germany in the 30s people were stopped and asked for "papers".
You need to stop spewing ignorance and adjust your tin foil hat.

Sopa was shelvedIt had been shelved for a short time before Harry Reid sponsored another bill. Pretty much the same, but with a different name. The house should vote on it soon.

Yea they seem to rush them a little bit like the Medicare bill. I know a person that read the bill and they read a part mentioning selling of real estateUnknownAssassin wrote:
Yea it does not make sense to me how wide of reach some bills have. It just seems like the strategy is to make them as long and complicated as possible then rush to pass it. Nancy pelosi made a notorious quote that I find sad albeit humorous. "we need to hurry up and get this bill passed, so we can see what's in it"(paraphrased-consult your search engine of voice for exact verbiage)Yea the government is going a bit too far with these bills. I am angry about how flawed these bills are.

You said "several places", the only agency with roadblocks in several places in the US is the BP. The checkpoints you are talking about are ONLY in Tennesse and are operated by the TSA. They Supreme Court has also ruled them Constitutional. Looks like you're the idiot. keep drinking that cool aid and listen to more of your extremist radio.PANTERA. wrote:

Check it out. While alot of disgusting things happened under the rule of hitler you can't deny that some good didn't come out of it as well. The most prominent, I would say, being the advancement in medical science through the experimentation that was done. This article doesn't really get that far into it. Just gives a brief summary of 10 things that the author thinks were the best things to happen as a result of Nazi Germany.
