Frequently make posts about your mob milestones in GD. Probably like every 500 mob added, remember if you don't nobody will.
Seriously though don't cap inactives and don't try to act like a badass just bc nobody knows you.

All good hints and tips! Vets please guide the other vets here for their input...I'd like to see the lurkers speak up...

Help people who you would want to help you, dont fight them. If you help someone, you've made an ally with that person. If you need help you can go to that person. If you fight with them, the grudge war will wipe one of you two out.

Never name turf "home", "my base", "new ruler" or "taking over".

These are all very helpful, thanks!!!

Don't over extend yourself, nobody can take over the world!

Shut up and deal when you get capped, and don't whine.

Don't use profanity or name your turf inappropriate names. And don't lie, it will only dig you deeper in your never ending hole!

Best piece of advice, try and get to know your local mobsters. Most are helpful and will give you tips for the game. By "getting to know" them I don't mean sucking up and asking for them to smash someone because you were attacked, I mean sending a respectful pm saying "Hi I am new to the game and was just wondering if there is anything I should know or if there is any advice you can give me to help me get set up".
-
Be polite!

2. Have honor. After all, without honor we are little more than savages. -

Read the sticky.Any vendetta tips?
Don't expect help if you are just getting some of your own medicine for bullying smaller people.
Provide plenty of information.
Don't lie. -
Just because you have a small war with someone, let it go when it's over. Some of the coolest people I know on here started as enemies.

Remember a vendetta is only as strong as the biggest player in capture range.

I disagree. Having sentimental turf makes the game more interesting. If you de personalize your stance in the game you're not going to have much enjoyment at allDO NOT get attached to your turfs. Dropping one with sentimental reasons is a bad idea.these are colored circles on a digital map in a game on your phone. Sentiment will be 100% detrimental to your enjoyment of the game.

Stick to your guns...
If u say don't do that or I will cap u.... Then cap them.
Someone hits u hard and u make a threat... Make sure u live up to that threat.
Reputation is everything

You disagree, I'm shocked. This wasn't a thread for you to chime in with your feelings and opinions, they asked for a tip or two. Is it possible, just for once not to turn a thread into your personal soapbox? Probably not but one can always hope.🔥⌖ Viper ⌖🔥 wrote:

Start small. Build your turf close together and wait for it to expand. People will notice one big turf but not a bunch of small ones growing

Seriously? It said one year experience. And this is awful advice. Putting all your turfs right on top of eachother makes it real easy for them 2 b taxed
