  Bramble Scat is long for B.S. or bull s**t. The Scat part was suggested by my five-yr-old last year whose prized possession is a book about identifying animals present in the wild by their scat (dung). I was at a loss for an Internet handle at that time and he thought scat was cool. I'm thinking of changing my name to just "scat" cause a lot of folks think my name means "bramble's cat." And I am no one's cat.

  Batel means "Daughter of God" in Hebrew. My pen name is "Ariel Batel" which is "Lion of God, Daughter of God". I chose just "Batel" For Turf Wars because it sounded more Mobsterish. I also chose the name because I like to be reminded of who I represent as a Christian woman, even in the TW community.
