I'm a noob to the higher art but had been taking decent p and s shots for years. Who else is into it? We also have a pal room called photography room for anyone interested.

Real photography or digital?

I dabble with my canon 450d. I'll hit the pal room up tomorrow. Spent many an hour climbing and falling around the good old british countryside.

I have a 4x5 graflex and a minolta autocord when I want to get arty. And a Pentax system for 35mm and digital.

Belial already knows... I shoot with a 7D.

I do black and white photography. I develop and do everything like that as well. It's really fun.

I collect Old and rare cameras, I think that it's pretty cool

Yeah, I'd like to get into developing my own prints. Proper dark room style.

So what do you guys think is superior? Film or digital?

I think digital has caught up to 35mm. But is nothing like medium or large format. Especially in portraits.

My take is both apsc and ff dslr have caught up to 35mm. So it becomes all down to preference

I used to have a darkroom where I'd develop my photos( naturally). I love photography but now only walk around with a sketch book as my camera. It helps me imprint images better.My brother is a photographer. A beautiful art it is.

The kodak medalist is a great camera too but uses an odd spool. -
