As a 4th generation mason, I sat in the East on three occasions while I was still a steward... I had ritual memorized in 2 months and conferred the E.A. Degree on 2 brothers during that time.
I never was WM though .. But I still had the privilege of sitting in the east, weildingvthe gavel, calling the lodge to order, and conferring degrees... So that was fun

Neat. I brought my dad into freemasonry a year ago. It took him a year to return his mm. But I don't think he's going to be wm.

I'm a 48 degree Kamehameha mason. My hair turned big and yellow. Similar to the saiyans.

I just landed. I'm a 3rd degree but all of my family on both sides are 32nd degree Scottish Rite. I don't have the time or money right now to do it but I plan to very soon.

I'm not very active .. No real time.. That's why I stepped out if line.
I remain in blue lodge only... I don't feel the need to rise above 3rd.
Both sides of my family are Masonic, some Scottish Rite, Some Royal arc.. Cousins were jobs daughters or demelay , aunt is a past matron and cousin past patron of eastern star ...me , I'm content with blue

still considering. Spent some time with one of the local lodges here, didn't really feel like I "fit in". May visit another.

Oh I just thought that by SW he meant the name of the Lodge. Didn't really click at the time that it was senior warden lol

Ask a mason or check your phone book . We don't seek out initiates ... If you wanna be one you'll find a lodge 😜

Also you are going to have to get to know some masons... Hang out with them ... You need masons to sponsor you for membership and any mason worth his salt isn't gonna just sign your app unless he can get a good idea of your character

Maybe...a lot are consolidating now though ...Lincoln Park had 3 lodges until they merged into 1

Oh yeah I've seen that. Is it because there's not enough members in some? Or it's just more convenient and cost efficient?
