Was I wrong?
Forums › General Discussion › Was I wrong?-
I was in the other room taking a bath, when I hear my 3 year old crying. He was obviously hungry or thirsty, but being in the bath, I expected my husband would take care of that.
About 1 minute later, my 3 year old starts throwing a tantrum because (I believe) he wasn't having his needs met and was being ignored. (he was on facebook when I left) So I got out and reprimanded my husband saying he needs to pay more attention to our kids and get off the stupid Facebook. I also added that our kids don't throw tantrums because they are being ignored when I'm there.
He hasn't talked to me for 2 hours, was I wrong?

Nah, I don't think you were wrong. My wife seems to yell at me frequently for being preoccupied with something else and not hearing my kids.

No. Being parents is a two way street. If takes two to make em so it takes two to bake em.

I have a two year old and she throws the BEST tantrums, even when she gets all the attention she needs. Kids will be kids. Whoever is at falt I think it's best to approach the problem calmly and get the facts before you yell at your husband. Whether you're right or wrong a simple "I'm sorry" "and "I love you" go a long way towards mending fences. Even if you did nothing wrong, he's likely to soften up and admit to having some fault himself. Then you can have Valentines day make up sex.

No. This sounds like the typical conversation happening in millions of households every night. 😄I was in the other room taking a bath, when I hear my 3 year old crying. He was obviously hungry or thirsty, but being in the bath, I expected my husband would take care of that.
