Of smoking dirty filthy cigarettes!! I'm nearly 31 and have been smoking since I was 13 and this is unbeilieveably hard. I have tried to quit before but failed, mainly due to the medication i was using from the doc was an anti depressant and it zombied me out. Any good advice from people who have had success?

Keep yourself occupied, carry gum, fruits, carrots... Anything to have when you usually have a smoke
-
Ask Belial about vaping. Good job quitting! 😘

Good luck. I am on 7 months now using the mints. Had 1 or 2 here and there (total would be less than 10). Just don't give up on giving up. Remember the mints are healthier than the smokes with all the tar and other shit.
-
Thank you and I will do just that.

Much respect for trying to quit man. I did a couple years ago and it was tough but totally worth it. Like iamcanadian said, gum, little candies. I used toothpicks and plastic drink stirrers. Just don't chomp em too hard it's hard on the teeth. And be prepared to gain some weight. I noticed I started eating more once I quit. But that's not everyone but it's happened to others I know that quit too. Good luck brother it's hard but worthwhile.

Quitting quitting is too easy, eh 🙍 -
Spend more time doing pointless things that seem at least like some fun! I.e: Internet or hobbies

I am using the patch, some ppl complain about the lucid dreams it gives u, but I think it is a plus!

I need to quit myself. I've quit for a year or so before but then something traumatic comes along and I break down.
-
I switched to green smoke electric cigs 4 months ago and have been lowering the nicotine level gradually.
I don't have withdrawal and there is no smoke, tar or odor.
All it emits is food grade water vapor and it contains the nicotine I crave... Plus I pay about 1.60 for 30 cigarettes worth of cartridges so it's much cheaper than smoking -
Thank you everyone for the advice I am looking into some of the things suggested in the thread.
-
Best thing to stop the craving is supplement chromium and 5 htp! Any good health store should have them! These are natural so they are ok to take!
The craving is bought on by hormones in the body! Smoking releases adrenaline in the blood stream and your body craves that same feeling so it asks for fags, instead people eat sugar or drink caffeine an there's another addiction which u will struggle with but will also make it harder to forget fags totally!
Cold turkey all the way! Before anyone comments yes I did smoke but have up years ago, never put one to my lips since! -
Feed your addiction with turf wars! And I applaud you for starting to quit!
-
I've been vaping electronic cigarettes for about a year. Haven't even craved a real one.

Vaping is the cheapest most reliable way to go

I used the gum. It was expensive at the beginning but got me off. Unfortunately stress from work got me back on rhem:/

I know, right? When I read your reply I just pictured you as dirty person inside. Your heart and soul just black and your social life full of holes. It's both disgusting and funny but good luck with that though! I've never been so socially inept so idk how hard that is.😘

Chantix. It's expensive but the money you save on cigarettes should cover it. I'm an insurance agency owner and hear all the time from people about it. Good luck and good for you.

Another thing to try is this stuff called Mint Snuff... It will help you by having something in your mouth for the oral fixation but is 100% mint leaves so its healthy and tastes good. Comes in mint, cinnamon, wintergreen, spearmint. Wont do anything for the nicotine fix but is a good for a aid to help with quitting. Cheap too 👍. Good luck with it!

Toothpicks. My uncles ALWAYS have one and they both used to smoke big time
