Daveb,
Redwall = Brian jacques
Inheritanc = cristopher paolini
Artemis fowl = eion colfer
I would also suggest,
The hunger games = Suzanne Collins
Enders game = orson Scott card
Icemark chronicles by Stuart hill
Any John Grisham or Michael critchen (not sure on spelling on Michael's last name but he wrote jurasic park, Congo, prey.)
Really it all depends on your age and interest in reading. -
I am into a bit of everything from Clive cussler to David Gemmell and everything in between

Most of those books can be read by any age, the redwall series got harder to enjoy when I got older. But for older reads I would do John Grisham and crichton. Oh James Patterson is another good author. The rest are good series. I almost forgot, the series Song of fire and Ice, by George R R Martin. Ended up being amazing!!! If your older and like swords killing rape and pillaging lol it's a must. Any others on here read that series??

The hunger games series

You should try David Gemmell one of the best reads for fantasy that I have read druss the legend starts the whole drenai series off and gets better and better

I read Tom Clancey's Executive Decision in 1 sitting took 12 hours.
All time favorite is anything by Robert A Heinlein the last of the grandmasters of Sci-Fi. Predicted so much that we take for granted.
