So I set up a 150 gallon tank today jack Dempsey a red devil a flower cichlids a albino Oscar with an old Greek theme set up it is fun watching them hunt the feeder fish down

South American cichlids are definitely cool but Africans are the best freshwater fish in my opinion. They come in many different BRIGHT colors and never seem to get scared and hide. I've had what you have too though and they're cool too. Gl with them 👊👍

I'm with ya...feeding is the best...giant tiger Oscar, couple of convicts, and two fresh water barracudas, they are the best...

Go with a reef tank freshwater is boring once u go salt you will never go back

I had a few Malawi cichlids a while ago , I bought them all when they were fairly small then all of a sudden one male red striped zebra became very teritorial , he grew really fast and started chasing all the others around the tank until he was the last one standing and all the others were dead , pretty sad but thats the way some are lol , good fun to watch hope u enjoy them
