Finally there a jailbreak for people with the 3GS phones that's unteathered!!! A friend of mine has done it, seems to work well. I'll probably do it this weekend.
Has anyone else used spirit?

My 3gs been jailbroke since Day2 u guys are slackin.. I used the same program from the 3g n it works great just wasn't unlocked

I spirit jailbroken my iPod touch 8gb late 2009 version. It's a second gen but is tetered using blackra1n. Spirit works great. No issues and I jailbroken a few weeks ago. Havnt tried syncing to iTunes but it should probably work.

some free apps u can't get in the app store or worse ud have to pay.. Besides I hada to jailbreak to unlock ny phone with tmobile

I felt the same way, it's just a risk you'll have to take. For me the only problem Ive had so far is sometimes my typing lags on certain websites. But type lag is worth the perks of jb, to me atleast.

I lost my blackrain jailbreak when my phone had to be replaced. I got stuck with 3.1.3 while it was non jailbreakable. I watched every day for weeks. The day spirit came put I gave it a try. Easy to do and no problems. Got intelliscreen and myprofiles back. Multitasking. A real phone again. I will stick with my jailbreak long before I upgrade to 4. Apple will only be giving us half the functionality the device offers anyway. Since the 3gs came out it had the ability to multitask and apple held out until the stood started kicking their ass. Love my iPhone but hate the control apple has over us

nah u could always just reset if ur on AT&T.. Tmobile u can't upgrade to 3.1.3 or it locks

or you can always just restore it back to 3.1.2.

yea jail broke it but is it unlocked? The only way to keep it unlockd is with baseband 05.11.07 I think
not sure if there's n unlock for 05.12.01 or 05.12.07

Just Sprit'd my iPhone 3gs. Works a treat, took literally 2 secs and is fully reversible. Just backup on iTunes before u jailbreak. 👾👾👾👾™
