most religions don't deny scientific discoveries if it contradicts their beliefs. and most religions don't attempt to get their religion taught in science classes. I don't have a problem with religion but christianity isbased on a belief that they are the only way and everyone else must conform. That is just wrong.

It states in the bible 2 peter 3:8 that a day for the lord is a thousand years. So yes i duspute the actual duration of an day during the first 7 'days'. Also my question about cain and abel is, with whom did they have kids..

You know, I used to not mind god.
But being forced to pray everyday by my primary school teachers. Being battered down for wanting to learn about another religion. Actually having nightmares about the stories we were told.Eventually I did some research and followed what I believed to be right. And still to this day, in secondary school, I am forced to pray. Called sinful and dark for having different views to the teachers.
I'm constantly having religion shoved down my throat twice a day in assembly's and in PTE lessons.I apologise if I rage when it's mentioned here. I get frustrated with it being constantly pushed in my face.

That's gotta be some kind of record for us. 👏👏Way to stay focused guys & not have forum ADD & an excess of nonsense posts!

When i was 12 my parents decided to leave the church where i was almost raised. The chuches response was to banish us.. In one day i lost literally all my friends and an aunt and uncle. Years after this we heared that some people made millionsjust dissapear, als the two most impotant people of the church cameclean in telling they where unfaithfull to their wifes with many women in that church. I didnt loose faith in the higher power, i lost faith in the once trying to tell us what the bible is and what it means...

My previous posts about the days and adam and eve helped me a lot of times. Bythe reaction u can see whether some just believes read the bible him/herself or just is indoctrinated.. Also it shows if one can respect anothers ones believe without saying it is bs...
