Radius for nearby mobsters?

Anyone know (maybe nick can chime in) the radius (miles wise) for the nearby mobsters when adding the under the Mob -> Invite Mobsters tab?

I'd like to know as well. I always look forward to my trips to NYC cause I get a bunch of adds. Of course they're probably all inactive players but is nice still.
