So, when you first started, did you do anything to make you feel better than the other players?

When I started I punched all the codes listed on my wall and felt like a badass.

This is not a "noob mistakes" but rather a "I was awesome when I started out" thread.

Whe I started I used the forums. Got in the top 20% by my second week though my weapons weren't so great and my income sucked.

I was so awesome I took capo of a town nobody was within 50 miles of! It was earning me a whopping 14.6k and I was a badass! 😁

I invited the worlds latest city capos to join my mob thinking I would be pretty strong 😹😹

I never used the forums until 4 months ago so I didn't know what defined a strong player

I went on the top players ad asked everyone for their invite code and added them all thinking that I would be the strongest player and then took capo of my city…then got all my turfs capped

When I started I was soo pimped out. I had like 100 mob members and didn't even know how to plant a turf after 2 weeks of playing. I'm such a pimp rolling in my swag.

I thought I was awesome because i grabbed up heaps of turf in my area. Now I am paying for it because I can't really go further out claiming turf because I'm at my limit and the only guy I can cap off of has double the mob number I do. I will get there eventually. I am punching

I remember when I first started out.. I immediately started planting turf in my hometown which got me into a situation where I stole capo from someone with around 26k mob. I had capo for a month or so and then the guy noticed and decided to 'destroy' me (or so it felt like at the time, lol).

When you started there were only about five other players. Must have been strange in the beginning with so few turfs scattered around, and now there must be millions throughout the world.

Shortly after I started playing I got layed-off of work and so had time to punch all of twdb's then 15k codes in one month- I thought I was awesome with 6k mob after that

when I first started, I took out the #1 player in the world. it took me roughly 2 months. this was two years ago. the Monday after valentine's weekend, 2010.
