  I used to be like that but I am fine with it. I use them all the time. Plus that is nothing compared to what abbreviations are like. There is 'lmfaorofl' and plenty of others. Not to mention plenty of emoticons like 'XD, :), :(, ;), DX, :-),:-(, and hundreds of others.

  We just did an English exam about textingand how the langauge of it has developed. How we text and how people differ and think of it. Many opinions about it from what I learned. Some people even went as far as texting is like Genghis Kahn (if I spelt his name right), it is pillaging our punctuation and raping our vocabulary. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though and I don't see what is wrong about using abbreviations and acronyms. It helps our vocabulary rather than destroying it.
