I remember havoc the best Gameboy setup there was.....took it everywhere. Had this clip on contraption that provided flipout surround sound speakers, light, magnify glass.to make the screen appear bigger. The case I had was like a full fledged suitcase lol. Wish I still had that thing.....I wonder whatever happened to it all

Advanced Dungeons&Dragons with the twenty sided dice of death. Maps drawn as the dm tells you the story. Backstabbing by your team mates because they want your loot.

Haha you are like the turf wars elder. I literally have no clue what anything you just explained is, but it's somehow entertaing. Just like my grandpa's stories about growing up in Aberdeen, SD. He used to tape mirrors to his shoes to look up girls skirts when he was 15, and I totally have no idea why anyone would do that. I'm guessing it's because he didn't have the Internet. I've never known a world without it. Swinging from tree to tree sounds painful. Not to mention all the sticky sap all over you. I hate sap...In the summer we played pom pom polaway in the ball field. Winter we'd go sceeching on skid road.
We also had a pine plantation behind our house, we'd climb to the top of a pine and get it swaying back and forth until we could jump to the next one. Who ever made to the end if their row won.

Commodore 64! I own most old consoles but the c64. That was around well befor I was born. I had one for a bit, games took to long to load. And the casetes melted together when I left them near the window.I guess this is where we get to roughly guess a persons age then? 😉
The first iconic (to me) game was Platoon on the C64. My brother and I played that for months it was one of the few things we didn't argue over.
Because he's a year and a bit older than me he used to get to go to bed an hour later than me. I used to stop the cassette while it was loading so he didn't have time to play when I went to bed! 😃
Of course SNES mario kart came a few year later and boom!! Addiction! 😃

Ultima the black gate
Realms of the haunting
Any of the ultima series

Wow I'm blown away from the amount of people who didn't choose an outdoor activity. My youth was spent outdoor playing sport, mainly rugby league or touch football, cricket etc. My favs though would have to be build up tips around our whole neighbourhood. Sometimes there were up to 30 of us local kids playing. And spotlight at night when we went camping with our grandparents!! Pretty epic stuff.

Kids stuff. :) I remember one summer.. I stole my dads plainer, and a hammer and chisel, and spent every morning scooping out the inside of a log to build a canoe... Hahaha didn't know a thing about boats then... Last day of summer, I got it in the river, brought my dad so i could gloat, stepped in and pushed off.... And promptly tipped over and watched 'er sink.
😌 good times -

We entered a junkboat race one summer. You had to build a boat out of scavenged junk. We built a cardboard canoe exactly like a birchbark one. It totally annihilated the competition. It was named "revenge of the bad axes" with drippy red paint along the sides. :)Kids stuff. :) I remember one summer.. I assumed it was meant for video games. I spent the vast majority of my youth outside. Football, roller hockey, building ramps for our bikes/roller blades, exploring Denver, roller rink, skiing, camping, swimming, dirt bikes, baseball, basketball, trampoline football, rollerblade basketball, etc. etc etcWow I'm blown away from the amount of people who didn't choose an outdoor .
