It makes me sick knowing that the Giants are going to get a parade down Broadway. I mean, its not necessarily a bad thing, its just that i think that our vietnam vets and iraqi war vets deserve the parade more than anyone and the Giants should be the ones tagging along. Those wars may not have been justified, but a whole lot of young Americans lives were lost fighting for a rich mans pocketbook. In my book, there is always honor given to the dead who fought for and with their brothers.

But our constitution breaking mayor mike bloombergs third term is worrying too much about new yorkers not smoking and not drinking soda rathet than taking care of our filthy hospitals, closing schools, and collapsing bridges and roads. Nazis controlled the Germains. Democrats control our blue states like Nazis. It really makes me sick.

I agree

You're an idiot comparing democrats to nazis.

Okay I'm wrong. I still don't like the fact that this country idolizes actors and sports players. It's sickening. We should give more credit to honorable citizens (scientific breakthroughs, honorable military service, reducing crime, etc)Dr. Seuss wrote:

I'm military. I've been to combat. Let them have their parade, we don't do this for glory.

I think teachers are the most under paid and respected.

Considering the Giants don't play in New York, I don't think they should have their parade in NYC either. Let them drive around the streets of Hoboken or Newark

Guess what: Football Parades, closing schools and deteriorating national health care happened during the Bush administration, did you blame the democrats then too?

</blockquoteIf a football team won the world series......they should get a parade, movie rights, video games, and free hookers for life.
Is this a team full of Bo Jackson clones?

You have to wonder how much the Super Bowl helps the economy....
-
I really disagree. Sports are an escape from reality for a lot of people. People spend 3 hours a week watching their favorite football team. They love their team and celebrate when they win. And if they win the big game, it's a great thing to get a rally/parade together to celebrate. I think the USA does a wonderful job paying tribute to our troops. We have holidays and parades for them and even when we see them in our everyday lives.

Vote Ron Paul to end the unjust, unconstitutional wars.
The elite agenda setters(rothschilds, rockefellers, British crown, and their intermixed bloodlines) have, in fact, turned American politics into a football game. They want everyone to pick a side a fight for a team. In the superbowl, the same play can be interpreted differently by pats fans and giants fans. They argue with each other and fight over who is better when they are both just two groups of guys who could care less about Boston or new York.
Republicans and democrats are picked out by the same people to distract the majority of citizenry.
Obama is a continuation of bush and Romney/Gingrich would be a continuation of Obama. -
But yes, there should be a huge parade for our veterans well before a parade for a football team.
