Not too long ago I went out to breakfast with my detachment (Army) at IHOP. There were about 12 of us and all in uniform. As we were getting ready to pay the waitress told us someone in the returaunt anonymously paid for our whole table. I almost never go out to eat anywhere sit down in uniform because it happens all the time and I feel guilty. Soldiers get a lot of gratitude nowadays but as a veteran I want to thank those who are grateful for the sacrifice of really brave men and women I have been honored to serve with. All the people out there who make this a country (and world) worth fighting for are why we do it. Thank you to anyone who makes this world a better place.

I am not amerIvan but anyone fighting for their country and the right of its people deserve all the thanks they get... Only the good countrys though.

As a proud veteran of the United States Navy, I feel the same way. Not everyone can be a soldier, sailor, jarhead, cop, fireman, emt, teacher, etc... But to those who do make this country everything we love and cherish, thank you.
