🚬I Have been smoking for the longest time! I smoke cigars, and cigarettes. Any ways to stop smoking?🚬

Nicotine patches, or u can switch to alcohol addiction. 👍🍻
-
Chew alot of gum then you will be addicted to chewing instead it worked for my uncle
-
I know 3 people that had acupuncture work for them. I know one person that had prescription medication work for them. (He tried the patches first by themselves but it wasn't enough.)

Chantix worked for me. 2 maybe 3 years now. Smoke free after almost 15 yrs smoking. I really wanted to quit though so that's the first step.

is that CHAMPIX?? If so I had it when it first came out and got told by the nurse a that it was a new med and not all side affects were known. A month later I stopped raking it as it wasn't working, she told me that they had found that 1 in 100000 were at risk of serious side affects.Chantix worked for me. 2 maybe 3 years now. I used nothing. If u wanna give up u will. No amount of crap replacements on the market will help. Its all in the mind

I started doing more exercise. As soon as you do it really puts you off smoking. And chewing about 500 packs of gum a day too. Helped!

No, Chantix is the name. That's the prescription I was talking about. Although regardless of the method you do have to really want to quit. I've also seen someone that it didn't work for because they weren't truly dedicated to quitting.\\// (add TONES744) wrote:

When I was a kid my mom tried to quit cold turkey. She was a terror for 3 days & then hyperventilated & ended up in the hospital. She went back to smoking. Then 9 years later she tried acupuncture & had no problems quitting.

there's some famous book. I've had several friends who read that and chomped on those chewing sticks you can buy at health food stores. without patches or drugs.

I only know two people te chantix worked for and that's my sister and myself. I know a bunch of people
that tried it and failed. Bu they still smoke. It takes a strong will to want to quit and they didn't and still
don't have it. There. Literally is no magic pill. -
One thing I also did that helped was set up an ING account that automatically took my "smoking money" from my checking account each week. That grew to over $8,000 in no time flat. Nice little reminder to stay quit.

Patches worked for me. I quit 2 months ago. I used the patches for 25 days. The cravings are still there, but I can fight it. I smoked for 14 years. A pack and a half a day. And I quit, after thinking I could never quit.

I quit about 3 months ago. No help from anything. Totally cold turkey. All I did was decide to quit for myself(no one else) and my last smoke I was out with my friends and told them all This us the last smoke I'm ever gonna have.
You'll only quit if you truely want to. After that it gets easier every day -
Deng bro I'm on the same boat as you, you can buy a Electronic Cig, you can get 2 for about 45 and the liquid is like 20
what I do I I only smoke at home, when I leave I take the E-Cig, I'm slowly slowing down the process of my smoking
I tried quitting cold turkey but I couldn't... The patches and gum didn't work for me
ill post a link in a little to the site thatsells them for cheap, it's were I got min

I can't seen to stop, even though I tried all of your ideas. He ecig was ok. And the gum was fine. But I am on a pack of camels, a pack of marlboros per day, and 5 cigars per day, I love them! I can't stop!🚬🚬

What's an electric cig?

I had a bad experience with Chantix... It did not make me suicidal or anything, but it did plunge me into a sort of pit of despair. I hope this doesn't happen to everyone.
Anyways, it didn't work -- I am looking for a new way to quit.
