Its like 2am and I can't sleep cuz of stupid scary movies. Whats the scariest/creepiest movie ever? I just watched 30 days of night and eraserhead. To this day people have no idea what eraserhead is meant to mean.

I didnt understand any part of the movie. Like why is his baby a pig and the end is just so weird. Was it all a dream or something?

A good scary story is good for you. Especially right before bed. Makes me sleep better and keeps away the nightmares 😋

Yeah it's a dream you could say. The movie is pretty much about disappointment, crippling depression, and reincarnation. I always get in arguments with friends because to me it's purgatory.

Oh and the baby is plain beyond me. It relates to the beginning of the film though when it morphs into the ameba from the start. Hense my interpretation of reincarnation

Eraserhead, to me, has always been an "important" movie, like Metropolis, or Un Chien Andalou, or Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Watch it to absorb the emotional tone (futility, despair) more than the meaning. Class dismissed 😜

Eraserhead is my favorite movie! I view it as a man not yet ready to commitment. And the lady in the radiator? His guilt or the women he wants. And her stepping on the gross things? Her destroying those sperm cells that gave him the abomination. I'm not sure. So scattered when talking about that movie lol.

I actually got really scared by it. I was little when I watched it and had nightmares of pig babies and guts haunting me. But it was pretty good I just have no idea how to take it

I generally don't like scary movies, though not because they frighten me. Typically it seems like the villain of the movie is either some kind of monster that can't be killed, so there's no real point except to watch people get picked off one by one, or the monster can be killed through some weird means like breaking it's gravestone on the anniversary of it's death or whatever.

My favorite ones though are those that break that mold. The Thing might be my absolute favorite scary movie. Night of the Living Dead is awesome too.

I saw blair witch when I was 16 and I kept my light on all night. Paranormal activity did that to me too and I was like 25.

Paranormal Activity scared me to no belief. I didn't sleep for 3 days, becausey room was set up exactly like the one in the movie.
