Anyone else hate losing rotation settings in the update?

I do. I HATE landscape mode. I'm so used to using portait from the old days that I can't get used to landscape, so I kept the setting at portait only. Now the new update comes along and kills that good feature. I guess I'll have to go download that inorotate app from cydia. *sigh*

Yes I hate the landscape mode can we please have it lockable again.
-
According to nick's announcement he had to undo it to apple restrictions. I don't know why they allow kindle to do it though.
-
Woah the option is gone??
No good. Portrait mode FTW!!!
-
this is super sucky because I do my best turf warring laying in bed.
-
Seriously. Big FU to apple if that's the case.
Love the iPhone but as if the app approval process wasn't enough now they tell you how to design.
Now that I think of it though I read that it's gonna be an iPhone option overall in OS4.0
So rant over that should fix it.

Nice that the iPad has a toggle switch to disable rotating for all apps.

to true. I hate trying to use it in bed now. And if it's bumpy, the acceliromiter can go spazzy and start switching between the two. Like leaning over to show someone something on you iPod/iPhone and it flips to landscape, that pisses me off. Curse you apple!!!! I guess this is some crazy "forcing the ipad on everybody" campain cause of the screen lock switch on the ipad. Ughhhhhthis is super sucky because I do my best turf warring laying in bed.

Wait is landscape across and potrait up???
-
Again new iPhone OS will have the feature to lock rotation across all apps. So it's only temporary.
-
Atleast I have my inorotate app from cydia. Anyone who's jailbroken, look it up. It's only settings are to lock specific "built in" apps or all applications. But it's better than nothing

Nick can you tell us why apple restricts auto rotate options...or why it would concern apple at all? Or anyone that may know?
-
LoL. Look up

That's my question - why can the kindle app get away with doing it?
-
That I don't know. Probably cause it's a reading app so it has to have the feature in the time being.
-
*for the time being.

Play with a point pack version. Then you can have portrait lock.

Mine don't even turn to landscape mode. It's annoying when trying to add codes.

yeah but doesn't the pointpack versions not allow you to use everything? Like laying turf or somthin like that?Play with a point pack version. Then you can have portrait lock.

Point pack version might have the old map layout. And no push notifications. If you have both youll still get push on the free version.
