Had a question

Ok my question has nothing to do with my wee wee, boobs, video games, or anything the is grouped in that category. Ok now that that's out of the way, I'm currently doing a frame off restoration on a triumph tr7, anyone on here who is familiar with the car that could give me some tips on what to do with this damn boot lid, I'm having fits with it. Thanks in advance. Also if you feel this is a bad forum, no need for a thumbs down, just shoot me a pm and I'll kill it.

I'm not an expert on tr7's but my first thought would have been try the owners club?

I've thought this too but to be honest, it's my fathers car, he has fallen into a bit of a slump on it because of this piece, that and the left rear quarter but that's another story, was hoping to knock this out and get him back out here before he gives up completely

A whole vast Internet out there and this is the first place you ask?
-
Happened to be here, hey you never know when you neighborhood mobster is also a gear head ya know, although I'm also doing other reading as I type this.

And to my defense this is the fourth place I asked about it. The most recent people were a collision mechanic, I did get ahold of the secretary (only one I've gotten to get back to me so far) and the newsletter publisher of the triumph owners club, they say it's a difficult piece, they gave tips but I was hopeing for a bit more

Whats the problem? Are you trying to get it off or put it back on?
-
I see what your problem is here. You got a flabberguffle in your fleeblebob. If you used a 14" quarter socket with a tri powered hammer I'm sure you can bang out the truss and lube up a gasket.

Google my friend. Finding someone here that knows enough about something that specific is like trying to find a good, honest politician.

I thought that was the solution to world hunger? Should I stop throwing seeds at my car and try that instead?I see what your problem is here. You got a flabberguffle in your fleeblebob. Yeah you've got a point, worth a shot though. I think I finally might have worked out the spot though so I'm still better offmojopilot wrote:
