they are so good to their members. going to see them tonight in jersey since I got shut out of the Madison square garden pre-sale. band of horses opening. I went from NYC to Columbia, SC the last tour. so providence to Newark isn't so bad.

I realized recently since I've been one of those superfans since 1992, that I've spent more time in my life loving this band- than I haven't.

I ❤ pearl jam too. I've always seen them as the nirvana for people who, while are mad at the world, actually have a job.

This tour with band of horses is really really good. I just caught them locally in Columbus. Have a blast!

i found out band of horses is my friend's friend's band. I shoulda tried to work that connection better. I'm looking forward to checking them out. with the exception of kings of Leon a couple years back, I almost always miss pearl jam's opener.

the older I get, I wonder how hard it's going to be jumping up and down singing for two hours straight. I get sore more often than I did 15 years ago!

I like everything before there newest album. When they were grunge and not this mainstream-borderline pop shit. I still play ten now and again. WAY better than that fucking emo gamgbang Nirvana shit.

oh it was brilliant. I wish I had the time and cash to stick around for the MSG shows. they played a lot of old stuff off binaural. that was a surprise. and footsteps. I don't think I ever heard them do that live before.

cannot count the number of times I've seen them or individual bandmates play. however that is largely due to being a native seattleite n og (an original grungehead). we just had a fantastic "hoedown for haiiti" a cpl weeks ago that mike mccreedy put on that was a blast. small venue authentic singalong hoedown. mama tek rulz!!! ❤❤❤
