Okay so awhile back I dated a girl for over a year. And we had sex and spent alot of time together. And one day we were jus chillin in her basement and I was looking through her phone jus for fun. She was laying right next to me so she didn't disapprove. And I found some recents messages to an from a guy about stuff they done real recent. I didn't say nothing to her cause I didn't wanna start a fight right there (her dad was up stairs and he is real protective). So I took my phone and texted her best friend and asked her about it she said she was cheating. And so knowing this I didn't bring it up. But that day she drove me home in her dads truck and we had sex in the back. Then when we got to my house I told her I was breaking up with cause she cheated.
Now people that know the whole story say it was a dick move. But I think my actions were justified. What is your guys opinion.
Am I a dick
Or were my actions justified? -
Your actions were hilarious
-
Hmmmm. You weren't a dick for breaking up with her. Having sex before doing it was a questionable move though.
-
Nice blog 👍
-
Your a dick for having sex in her dads truck and then breaking up with her after having sex twice
-
You're kinda of a dick for posting this crap on a game forum.

Meh. I think being jealous over sex is petty. I mean why does being in a relationship with someone entitle you to own their sexual choices? It's like being mad at the person your dating for trying a new menu item. People naturally bounce off each other throughout life. We are social creatures who constantly restrain ourselves with rules to contradict our nature.

humans are not meant to be monogamous. Monogamy was invented by the catholic church to stop mixed faith unions that would create children who may not adhere to Catholicism.

WTF you trying to get yourself punked ? Who gives s rats ass about hitting some pussy that cheated on you , I'd be more concerned about why she had to find more dick than yours than being a dick to her after giving her some dick etc.
-
You should of stayed with her and banged other girls. You don't throw away pussy because it's has other dicks you just go get more pussy so it's there for you all the time. When ones not available you go to the other.

monogomy existed before the catholic church, for practical reasons. But in essence, yes you could say that.humans are not meant to be monogamous. Monogamy was invented by the catholic church to stop mixed faith unions that would create children who may not adhere to Catholicism.

perhaps invented was the wrong word...replace with promoted.

I would get myself checked if I was in your position. STDs = no bueno

Not a dick for breaking up with her. Dick for sleeping with her first. Also, better man than me. I'd have flipped the second I found out and walked home.

Are you the creator?? How else would you know what humans were originally intended?
Some people want monotony, others don't. In todays society I find that it has more to do with personal choice than religious oppression.
-
The CC viewed polygamy, which was widely accepted in other religions, to be a real threat(not to mention enticement). So by condemning it as blasphemy they were indirectly condemning those other religions

This is just an opinion not a claim of omnipotence.... but it is western, manmade society that tells us we have to be monogamous not nature. The act of putting a wedding ring on a finger is a symbolic reference to putting a collar around a slaves neck... symbolising "my property-don't touch"Matt Adore wrote:

The ring is of course a circle and this was the symbol of eternity for the
Egyptians as well as many other ancient cultures. It had no beginning and no
end, like time. It returned to itself, like life; and the shape was worshipped
in the form of the Sun and the Moon. The hole in the center of the ring is not
just space either; it is important in its own right as the symbol of the
gateway, or door; leading to things and events both known and unknown. It is not difficult therefore, to see how the ring and the gift of a ring
began to be associated with love, in the hope that this most worthy of emotions
could take on the characteristics of the circle and capture eternity. -
ever heard of the saying: the old ball and chain...?
