Rating system [M,TW]

I think that a rating system should be put in place for making threads. Kind of like for video games but a bit different. It'll be posted on the end of a thread name to let people know what to expect and what the rules for a thread are.
[M] Mature/Serious discussion
[S] Silly/irrelevant
[G] Game
[RW] Real world issues
[TW] Turf wars related
[AL] Adult language/profanity

What do you guys think? Yes or no? If yes are there anything else that should be a rating title?

By the way this will be run by the players so that's why it's in general discussion.

I think it's a great idea tht way if ppl want a religion or politics thread ppl can't bitch about it because it has a rating saying wht it is and if u don't like the topic avoid it

I think its a pretty good idea, but would be kinda hard to get everyone to implement it.

you slowly phase it in, a couple people start doing it and others like the concept so they do it too. It's not going to be forced upon people but it'll make forum surfing easier.

I do understand what you are trying to do. A post such as Hookers can play Hockey would be [AL] and [S].
However a post such as Are Mules Good or Bad which should be [TW] or [G] can quickly spiral to [AL]. Just something to think about.

By not posting [AL] you're essentially saying no foul language allowed and if someone breaks that rule it's up the thread maker to deal with it the way they need to. This is a guide for people to be able to skim through a multitude of topics while looking for a topic type they're interested in.

Not pnly that, you could rate a thread S or G or TW and some assclown will come in and be offensive just to spite the rating.
