I respect peoples beliefs and their commitment to a better way of life. I also admire the work the church does and the help it gives to those who need it. But, Christianity, in my opinion has turned into a money making machine with a heirachy that profits. This, I understand, was never meant to be the way ?

Also just cause a lot of Christianity has gone bad doesn't mean all Christianity is bad. And when I say this I mean Protestnt not Catholic. They are two different religions that are grouped together too often

The people who are scared are the ones who cannot stand on their own two feet and take responsibility for their own lives without a big God shaped comfort blanket to make things better for them. Religion is for the scared and the blind, those who will happily accept a wholly nonsensical and irrational notion with no evidence to support it.
I actually have no problem with people who are religious and for whom it is a personal thing, I do have a problem with idiotic people like this who tell rational and sane people that they are just not high level enough because they don't get God. -

I personally think it sucks that people don't believe in God but I've learned not to be preachy. Kinda like a lead by example type thing. Obviously not by my recent behavior with Cartelgate. Lol. But I believe if you met me and experienced the God in me, it's way better than going "GET JESUS IN YOUR LIFE NOOOOW". Time will tell tho right?

Because the existence of air can be proven scientifically.
You can't see gravity but that exists and can be proven.
If I were to jump out of a 10 storey building I will fall due to the physical effects of gravity. NOT because I believe I will fall. You can't see the effect of lift due to invisible air moving over the wing of an aircraft, but it can be scientifically proven. An airplane dosent fly because I believe it will.. -

I'm a Roman Catholic, and believe in god! 100%. I don't speak like one! Lol . but I don't need to broadcast to ppl all over the place that I believe in god. I am not sayin that's wat anyone in here is doin just stating about myself.

I don't go to church either. To me (my own opinion) most ppl that work or goes to church are liars themselves. Example and Tru story.
Lots of churches has stole money from the donation that they receive in church, priests who have done the most sin ever, ppl thinkin by goin to church that god forgiving them more,etc etc etc!!! The list goes on. God is with us all the time, dont need to go to church and praise him. Praise him in ur heart and soul. Help others and not except anything in return. Be good to thy neighbor! Forgive others as god has forgiven us.

i have to admit...when u posted these quotes about a week or two ago..I was a bit stumbled..so I asked my pastor about them..he explained to me...that was the punishment for sin by the LAW of the country..they needed to sacrafice u if u sined..however Jesus knew that everyone sined so he sacraficed himself..the son of god apon the cross..

Majority of the time your beliefs depend on how you've been raised. I don't think you have to go to church to worship God.
I was raised in the church & have seen some crazy things there. But I'm half & half when it comes to God. We have our 'conversations' from time to time but some days I font believe he exists. That's just me tho. -
I'm catholic but I don't do all the praying and stuff apart from church.I also believe in the big bang instead of creation story but believe that god made the big bang.and I dont like church but I still go.and I go to a catholic school and they are just like normal school but you have prayers on tannoy before lunch and have mass every couple of weeks.
