The forum was better back then. Less 14 year olds, more adults. Which meant more interesting conversations. There may have been some of the same crap you see now, but there was less of it. The GD page one would go back 6-10 hours. People would comment on each others' posts instead of feeling the need to make their own. A big reason for that were there were more interesting posts being made and we didn't have to go through 15 lame threads to find one decent one.

Nothing stays the same. We wanted more players, we got it. Sacrifices have to be made. It's not all bad.

I was a late comer in the grand scheme of things, but even last year it felt more like this game was "ours". Increase in players and general popularity of the game is good I'm just wondering why they can't read through the help forums before they come here and post. I guess really I'm bitter because I had some wicked posts thought up ages ago when I started playing TW and none of them got to see the day of light because I thought it wasn't right to join a gaming community and start spewing in it's forum. We're lucky we have forums in built into the game. Should do more to preserve it. ERing n00bs isn't working any more...
