Bloodiest: Dawn of the Dead (2004)
Scariest: House On Haunted Hill -
Saw

Both of the hostels..
Eeewww..

The only scary movies that get to me at all are the ones that are are really realistic with plots that could really happen. Ie: the strangers, paranormal activity

Paranormal Activity scared the living garbage out of me.

-
Faces off Death was realistic

Try hills have eyes 1 or 2. Or 28 days / weeks later. Both good n bloody. And some eye gouging up close dosent hurt.

Has anyone seen Wrong Turn 1, 2, or 3? Or Final Destination?
-
Aliens scared the fuck out of me twenty years ago
-
Ninja assasins was very bloody. Very fake-looking though.
-
Wow, too many to list. I freaking love horror movies! (yes ate I've seen all the final destinations.) Some of the absolute raunchiest (and sometimes hard to find) were The Last House on the Left (the 70's version) & I Spit on your Grave. I loved The Ring, Signs, The Happening. White Noise was pretty creepy too. I can't even count the number of horror movies I've seen - you gotta wade through a lot of crap to find the good ones. Vacancy 1 & 2 were awesome! The strangers is that the one with Liv Tyler? That was really good!
-
I've seen almost all the ones you guys listed, except for Paranormal activity & Ninja Assasins. I can't remember about the wrong turn ones - I totally suck at movie names!

i am 32 and that movie had me sleepless for a week. creepiest shit ive ever seen. my gf still makes fun of me and i refuse to watch it again. i vividly remember the packed theater going completely silent then gasping in unison at the timelapse scene when we realized what was happening. never have i seen literally everyone at a movie get freaked out like that. only other movie that came close to evoking fear in me was the new amityville.Paranormal Activity scared the living garbage out of me.

I'm looking forward to seeing it now! It's already downloaded so maybe I'll turn on the comp & watch it tomorrow. 😋 I think it's cool that they are remaking all the old classics!
-
One of the scariest was definitely The Mist, by the middle of the movie it turned very misty outside. I HATED the ending though.

Scariest: Watership Down - freaky ass rabbits.
Bloodiest: Ichi the Killer (probably). I love Asian cinema, and a lot of it is bloody. Kind of a guess for this. -

it freaked me out bc I knew it was filmed in San diego (& based on a true story) & the houses it showed in the beginning of the movie looked IDENTICAL to the street I grew up on. After I watched it, I found out it was actually filmed about 20 minutes away from my old house.Maxwell wrote:

That's both awesome & creepy, Bella.
So the absolute best time to watch a horror movie is at night, with all the lights out, while you're alone, & it's storming outside. Then, when you take a bathroom break, don't turnon the lights. Look into the mirror & say "Bloody Mary" 3 times! 😖 -
Bloodiest: High Tension, which is fantastic by the way, highly recomended :)
scariest: Alien abduction movies, those are pretty damn creepy. So probably Fire in the Sky. -
Ooh - did you see The Fourth kind? That was good!
A good scary movie with a psychological twist is Identity. -
Scariest;Cornwall,1971,turned out pretty bloody aswell, all in super 8
