I am literally 15 ft from my wireless Internet router, why does it keep on showing as 1 bar?????

Ur lucky, my first phone never got wifi, my new phone does now. Try putting it in the freezer.

Is the power level at full power on your router

Yea as far as I know, it's at 3 bars when I connect but then it slowly goes down to 1

Well I can't really help you with your type of problem but my wifi has been a pain in the a$$ from day one. All the time my router will spontaneously stop working and the little dsl light blinks meaning I don't have connection with my Internet provider or whatever ether way it doesn't work.

What channel is it on? It may help trying a different one instead of the router picking one

I had the same problem and changed channels. It made an enormous difference.

U have to go into ur routers admin setting i think its 192.168.15.1 in the adress bar then ur username and password its usually admin for both every letter lower case in admin
