you. He was willing to serve on the front lines for our freedom. And you don't think that doesn't make him a friend? Jmac you are a sad man. And drizzy if you ever need anything you can count me as a friend. Thanks for your service. -

Nothing but respect for bud. I would be more than bitter if it was me
I'd like to share a story here that might illustrate my frustration here with this kind of crap that really needs to be reformed.I'm a Canadian from London Ontario. I am a private investigator and do private security as well, so I'm familiar with the street people (homeless) of the area.
There was one guy who was a native Indian named Billy Bear. He was your typical homeless drunken dirty bum, but he was an incredible man deep down and had a heart of gold. Even on the occasions when I had to arrest him he was chearful and always cracking jokes. I liked him.
One cold winter day not long ago Billy Bear was lying on the sidewalk in his usual spot all day long. No one thought anything of it because he basically lived on that little stretch of sidewalk. -
A lady stopped and attempted to give him some money only to discover he had died sometime during the night before. His body was laid to rest in an unmarked plot in the back corner of the cemetery.
Later I saw his obituary in the paper and discovered he was an American Indian and an ex military officer. This pathetic bum was awarded the congressional medal of honor, several purple hearts and a collection of silver stars. This man was a highly decorated military officer
-
His list of achievements were very extensive, likely one of the most impressive men I have ever known and I had no idea.
This man died in poverty after a great deal of suffering in a foriegn country, and his government did nothing to help him. They didn't even claim his body to bury him with honor. To all Americans who read this I ask you to always remember Billy Bear. He is one of your unsung heroes. He fought and sacrificed and then died in another country with no help for the government he sacrificed so much to protect. And he did it all without complaint, without crying and he always held an amazing amount of composure and integrity. His name is Billy Bear. Remember that.

Once again. To Don Drizzy, no remorce, no pity. Just complete respect and admiration. Stay true to yourself and your family and know that somewhere there's a Canadian who wishes he had your strength, will and integrity.
-
While we are at it we should pay our respects to all the ordinary afgahn and Iraq soldiers that have given their lives defending their families from an invading force.

All of the Iraqi and Afghan "soldiers" are now defending themselves at our side from internal forces. The wars are over. The armys have surrendered. I'm surprised you missed that part. While we are at it we should pay our respects to all the ordinary afgahn and Iraq soldiers that have given their lives defending their families from an invading force.

That's better. Both of the innocent men defending their families from an invading force should be honored. Screw the rest of them for fighting for theocratic fascism. They aren't innocent.
-
Let me see if I can put this in terms you can understand James. We are talking about people that lost an election. So you don't like the new prime minister then. You strap bombs on your mentally hadicapped 16 year old niece and send her into a shopping gallery. You'll get a few conservatives, the rest died for the cause. So you respect that, eh? That's cool with you? That is what is going on over there. A political power struggle. Nobody is defending their home from invaders...
-
And "what they believe in" is no different than what abortion clinic bombers believe in. Well, actually it is more extreme than that. They believe in treating women like livestock. They believe in zero religious freedom. They believe in capital punishment for the kinds of things you do on a Saturday night for fun. You really don't understand why that needs to be corrected?
-
I wasnt gunna say anything to his ridiculous comments but brown put it spot on.
-
I believe that everyone who fights for our country - past and present - is a hero! They will forever have my respect and gratitude. Thank you Drizzy, for your service, and for sharing.
