I don't think I've seen the whole thing. My brother & sister in law had a red velvet armadillo cake at their (wedding) rehearsal dinner as the groom's cake. Like I said, it was red velvet (& when you cut it, it looks like it's bleeding) and the "shell" was made of white chocolate. It was out of this world amazing - hands down, the best cake I've ever had.

That cake--sans armadillo--has been the traditional cake in my family for years. It is divine.
