The title of the game is "turf wars". I'm still a noob so someone help me understand please.
I came into this game believing I was supposed to mob up and take over as many as I can. And also become strong enough to defend them. Why is there ettiquett and mercy? I can understand not capping inactives but people who are active; shouldn't they be fair game? Its not my fault they have more influence than me but less mob. They should have mobbed up. Especially if they have been playing longer than me. Am I wrong for this?

Not a bit, but this brings to question common sense. Do you cap out an active player if they have less mob? This is not much different than capping out an inactive, they won't build next to you anymore thus affecting the income in that area. Working with other players maximizes your income and potentially you fun. Having other players around you that are willing to swap turfs with once in a while in good humor keeps your on your toes.
