I'm pissed off with the lib dems now. They are wasting time trying to get a sweet deal for losing the election. The only way is with the torys due to the numbers.

nah I think they got played. The Tory's will have offered them the same commitment to look at PR as the labour party have had since 1997.

I'd like to ask what proof people have re: Tories make rich richer and poor poorer? And also on the education front...
It was the tories that want to increase the death tax limit so when your folks do pop their cogs you're not left with a whooping bill to pay.
And was it not the Tories that promoted free education?

Well thank you labour, we have no reserves and our students leave education with £20k+ debt. Oh and by the way, employers don't want degrees, they want experience!

proof? As I wrote above, it was labour that screwed the students over. You and your brother have to pay for education now because of labour.

what about the people that just make it over the limit with the inheritance tax? Living in london it's very easy to hit the upper limit. And you can look at it both ways. Only the super rich will have to pay that tax. I'm not super rich, but my family have worked hard for what we do have, and I'm damned if I'm going to let the government get what we've already been taxed on!
Also tax breaks have been suggested for everyone, it just happens that the richer will benifit more than the not so rich. And why not? They've earned it have they not?

The economy needs a gap between the rich and poor. Otherwise te world just wouldn't work!
