Whatever happened to that player that was going to set up a TW account and ship an iPod all around the world?
If he/she dropped the idea I am happy to pick it up using an itouch or ipad? -
I dont think that Ipod made it past the 2nd or 3rd shipment before someone stole it!

It was me. The problem was this. For as many positive responses I got from people in the forum post I did, I got just as many negative ones sent to me in personal messages. I want to do it - I have an extra iPod touch that I don't use. I just don't want to get screwed over it. I actually had one person say that they would do an experiment to see how long it could float in their bath tub! Soooo...that gave me my answer.

There's plenty of honest people that would drop a turf and mail it back out same day. Use your head and it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

I got jersey, ny, pa, del, maine covered.. I drive for a living so I'm up n down the north east.. Reason I didn't start yet is cuz ur only allowed so many turf at each level till u buy more.. I make money but I'm cheap.. Rather add something to my track car

I'll drop a turf for you in WI Sunny, before the experiment I'd see if we could get an agreement that the worldwide account doesn't get attacked. Call the account Switzerland.

The rules could be...
Sunny posts in the forums WHO is reseiving the device. That person gets the device, drops the turf and sends it BACK to SUNNY. then he checks it and sends it to another person.He will need to prescreen Members before hand. And only people he can trust AND the rest of the TW community trusts!

Why not send it to the person and they send it to the next that he aproves of?? Would be cheaper n shorter then sending back to him ever damn time

Here's how you do it:
send it insured, with delivery confirmation and signature required. This way, you know it was received by the intended party. If it gets lost along the way, it's insured and you lose nothing.
The recipient sends it to the next person on the list. Same way: Ins., d/c, sig req.
This way you know it was received and sent off again.

Before any of this takes place, Sunny should have a list compiled of the following:
participant's name
participant's TW name
participant's address
approximate location of turf to be placed. -
The "voyager" wool be in Sunny's mob, so Sunny will be able to confirm turf placement before the device is shipped off again.
For security and privacy, each recipient will only have the ne and address of the next recipient, and only the TW name of the previous player sending it to them.

This is as about as secure as you can get.
One thing that could/should be posted publicly is a list of all articipants by their TW ned in the order they will be receiving.
By following the above steps, you establish chain of possession and reduce risk as much as possible.
Should the device fail to show at a location, you will know it's last position/possessor.

Insurance will cover any loss, and delivery confirmation with a signature establishes possession.
