Yea been done before, and it never worked. Ended up causing more problems than good. Best to not get involved in others business, unless it's aboalutely nesesary to do.

A bouncer is the person who steps in, when things start getting unruly. A good one can stop the fights before they start, and a normal one ends the fights.

Not quite... The bouncer is used to keep them from the need to cover their butts. In bars/clubs bouncers are used to make sure rights don't last long, and prevents trouble for said bar/club... Or in this case, team of detectives.

Don't step all over their new group the second they announce themselves. They have a relatively new idea. Don't tell them "been done before & it didn't work". Maybe these guys can do it better. Maybe they have better ideas.

Agreed. I wouldn't have volunteered if I thought it was a fly by night operation. People seem pretty excited and committed to this. It's just an attempt to set up a helpful and organized group.
