Gingrich - WTF?

Well of course. All parties have their good and bad people. Racists included. Brown note is saying that ALL democrats are like that while conservatives are not as likely, which I disagree from personal experiences.

Which party speaks of class and gender and race and sexual preference as an identity, one that deserves special treatment?

I see what you are saying by personal experiences, but as a whole, people are conditioned to believe it because its much easier to attack someone with no substantiating fact and for the attack to land as a fact, than it is to defend yourself against them. It's a common tactic used by the left in this country. Every other day the white house calls anyone who opposes Obama a racist. If your against obamacare you're racist. If you criticize fast and furious it's because your racist. If you didn't vote for Obama in the general election it's because your racist. If youre a tea party member and believe in smaller government it's because you're racist.Well of course. All parties have their good and bad people. Racists included. With all those attacks the defamation becomes accepted as truth.

I am terribly disappointed in you once again, Addi. Painting me with that anti-gay evangelical brush again...
You like to stereotype conservatives.
Of course I'm militantly anti-religion, and have no problems with sexual preferences or same-sex marriage.
Hell, I don't even have a problem with responsible drug use.
Yet I'm conservative. I know what conservatism means, and doesn't mean.
I'm a child of the 70's Sesame Street values. Race means nothing. Gender means nothing.
Late 80s and 90s Sesame Street changed. Now we are grouped into our little race, class, culture, and gender segregations. "Multiculturalism".
Not me, lady.

Now that's just ridiculous. If you are against his things or him that doesn't make you racist in anyway. I heard a child call Obama the anti-Christ today. It made me sodas at how parents can destroy children's minds like that! (I hope none of you think that).Jeff 🍆 Newton wrote:

Its just typical America.. take it or leave it.

Institutionalized discrimination is illegal, particularly by government.
It is against the law to treat citizens differently under the law based on gender, religion, race, or "social class".
This is why same-sex marriage must eventually be allowed. The government can't deny service based on gender.
This is a conservative ideal. Progressives seem all too happy to provide services based on race, gender, sexual preferences, and social class.
That is the definition of discrimination.
Martin Luther King Jr. was very conservative by today's standards. The father of the modern republican party was Abraham Lincoln, (though arguably not exactly anti-federalist)...
A true conservative believes in the concept of blind justice.
I think Mr. Gingrich is being painted as a racist by the left, when they themselves have no concept of the meaning of the word. His only mistake was trying to identify and explain social class differences. Only the left is allowed to do that. :P

I believe this is an impossible argument and neither of us will convince each other otherwise lol.

The sad truth is the republican side has been completely overrun by the religious right. As such the whole party is intolerant and not really conservative anymore

No. It is just apparent that we are not convincing eachother of anything, clearly. And Belial. You are very right about that. 👏👏👏👏Jeff 🍆 Newton wrote:

The thing is he identified them in such an inaccurate and mean spirited way. To conclude it quickly, just because you are poor doesn't mean you don't have a work ethic. Not even close.
