Station there back in the 80s(USMC) down in Gitmo. Did a ton of scuba diving water was great!

I want to go to Cuba. Are you allowed to go there straight from the US?

No. Mexico, or Canada.

Yes you can travel to Cuba from Canada without any issues

You can go, you just can't buy anything there. Legally. Or maybe it's just a limit to How much you can spend. I read about it in a Cuba travel book. Sounds easy to get around the rules, and very worth it from the pictures.

Restrictions have been eased somewhat recently. You can go straight from US if the primary purpose of the trip is research, agriculture, a few other allowed activities. Just can't go as primarily a tourist.

Cuban food isn't that bad. Haven't been there but got cuban relatives that I see every now n then (n I mean those ladies that cut off the heads of chickens and doves and channel our ancestors into them and everythin. Which is crazy cuz all the things they said about me were true and being kept a secret. According to her our ancestors' spirits follow us everywhere we go and offer advice to us. It was a crazy experience but I'm glad I did it. It was fun. Poor chicken though 😥 good thing I wasn't there when she killed it. But yea back to the main thing I was saying
Cuban food isn't bad at all.

I agree with the guy above, and I actually am Cuban. I'm going back for vacation this year.
