the greatest bed ever.
Forums › General Discussion › the greatest bed ever.-
we have the greatest most comfortable bed ever. no, this is no reference to bumping uglies, but truly a masterpiece in sleepy comfortable deliciousness. we got one of those viscoelastic memory foam mattresses with a plush baffle box topper, a mix of 7 pillows, some down, some synthetic. lightweight down comforter. 1,000 tc egyptian cotton duvet and sheeting. this is like a black hole for productivity because I've tried to get up twice now and I keep coming back.

Go Go memory foam!

I love my sleep number bed
-
Have the sleep number now and love it but thinking I might go tempurpedic (memory foam) next time. Know exactly the feeling your talking about. Ahhhhhhh bed.
-
We have a temperpedic bed & it is heaven! I also have a down comforter that I love! We only have 5 pillows - temperpedic, egg carton, memory foam (not temperpedic), & a squishy store-bought pillow. 😋
-
my bed is torture but I do enjoy the down comforter and pillows
-
I like the down because it's a moderate fill and doesn't leave you swealtering in all the weight. but my boyf and I are chefs and used to working standing 12 hours a day and generally waking up feeling like shit. I dunno if it's the temporary unemployment or the bed, but it's so great to not wake up more tired and achey than when I went to sleep.

I have often dreamt of a bed such as this, most often,I sleep ,beneath the sky with much discomfort.please do not bellitle the beauty of such seemingly simple achievement

The best bed I've slept in was at the Wynn Las Vegas.
-
well ,mama T's bed is aspirational
-
The best bed is very much like the best meal,or most flirtatious conversation,d'ye get me,it's a joy
-
great sleep is a part of something called preventative medicine. that and eating healthy and plenty of water, so sounds like you're on the right track to healthy living.
me, years of cot time. 28 but i feel 50

Ours is a king. They aren't cheap, but if you can scrounge up the $ they are worth it. However, there are several different kinds, so it's best to go to a mattress store & test out the different ones. We went to one near us but then bought it from Gallery Furniture. (Hank will know the store to which I'm referring.) You can buy it online from temperpedic but they don't set the bed up for you then (and the mattress is heavy!)

Not tryna be a pervert.. But do these things last while gettin naughty? I kno my spring mattress is broke after only a few months.. N that thing was great now springs pop outa no where
-
the mattress has held up well through our numerous 3 hour fornication sessions. the bed frame, however, is made of particle board from IKEA and that squeaks and groans something awful. I am rather certain the neighbors can hear and I wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing just gave out mid thrust.

Hey mystery are you a houston native? Do ya remember 🎤📺 gallery 6 9 4 5 5 7 0 🎧

I am a Houston native. In fact, we used to see Matress Mac eating at Fudruckers fairly often. At the moment though the tune isn't ringing a bell. Can you give me any other references?
The beds hold up fine through any normal activity you would use a bed for. We decided not to put a headboard or footboard on ours since they are just for decoration & tend to get in the way. Gallery furniture gave us a free metal frame to put it on. Mama T, could you just remove your headboard? Another idea is that you can actually attach something that looks like a headboard to the wall. Then put the bed close to it but not touching it. That way it still looks decorative, but doesn't make noise because the bed moves. This thing is so solid though, I don't think any amount of movement would make a headboard creak, unless you actually banged into the headboard yourself.

best cash i ever spent was on a motionless waterbed with a 6 inch thick pillow top. 0thër and i sink some 8" into it when we .. heh .. sleep. ill never skimp on bedding again 😝
