Is anyone else seeing those black lines over the map? If so, is it part of google's objection to the SOPA bill?
-
Huh.
-
Zoom completely out. The map is checker boarded.
-
I saw that. Really strange.
-
Nope
-
That grey with lines? That's always been there.

No. It happened when I was zooming out. I got to a certain point and the entire map was covered in thick black lines that were in a checker board pattern. And where you moved around they were there. If you zoomed out more they would disappearThat grey with lines? That's always been there.

It happens when you zoom out to fast and it can't load the map fast enough
-
Those are called state lines. They give each state it's distinct shape... Mine just happens to look like a giant penis.... 😒
Jk, didn't see them
-
I got big black lines on mine 😰

Well there are some areas on google earth/map they can't show (Nude Beachs, NATO HQ etc.). Those areas are covered in pixel blocks and if you try typing them in the search it takes you too some other location. I learned about this in world geo. When looking at Geography of Belgium and found a Pixelated location.

It's also through google maps outside the game. It is showing for me at different altitudes. Not just fully zoomed out. Its probably a server issue on googles side.
