Ok so I've been thinking a lot lately about military training but I dont want to have to join the military because I'm not meant for it, but I do want the training with firearms, explosive, and just the physical training. What would be the best thing for me to join to get the training, but not have to join the military.

Coast guard dose have a boot camp FYI, and probably a a state law enforcement and try to get onto a swat team. But think about it, do you expect any organization to train you in those field without a very strict boot camp like school/corse

Join a middle eastern rebel army. I don't think they have much in the way of training. I think your firearms skills are self educated on the streetz! :)

Yea I don't mind the bootcamp but I don't want to have to be deployed into war zones, like they have to do in the military.

Also I heard park rangers r good because u get firearm training since there's drug cartels in different national parks.

Firearms- go to local police dept and sign up for classes. Physical training - go to a local gym, use bowflex, p90x, sign up for martial arts classes, and just work out everyday and eat lots of protein and vegetables. Explosives - watch videos online, and wtf u gunna do with explosive training without joining military bomb squad ?

I do martial arts already and explosives just incase I was ever in the situation where I needed to use one or if I needed to disarm it.

Are you live in America? If so go the the uscg web site a read a little bit. They have a rank structure identical to the navy. A few, not many, get deployed to the persian gulf. I just got accepted to the Naval Academy, my father spent 18 years in the coast guard. I have done my research!

Do your own research, it's not DOT, the Coast Guard is a branch of the Armed Forces, its operated under the authority of the Deapartment of Homeland Security.
