An ok mob is 1,000 average mob is 5,000 good mob is 10,000 and awesome mob is 25,000+ make sure you fully equip your mob too

You shouldn't worry about upkeep until you get into serious fights and stuff do max out your mob with no upkeep items

Go through the Help Forum and read the stickied posts there, especially How to Arm Your Mob and the one about code websites. All the info you need is there. And if you're still stuck, message an "older" player and ask for advice.

I've had some strategy that seems to work when a v is on me. I take all turfs in the affected range to 1 inf to ride out the v so they can't destroy them. I imagine the opposing v could make 1 inf turfs near me to offset this, but it hasnt happened yet.
