8/10 top mobsters for influence and area paid real money to have all those properties just to be on the list.
I like to think this is a game of strategy, and success should be measured by working around confines such as turf limit.
I haven't claimed a new base since JANUARY 27th. just saying...

I think it is what it is. The top mobsters lists are broken down and don't specifically show "the best" mobsters. It all depends on what you consider a good mobster to be. Some consider most codes punched to be the best. I know that even if you "buy" properties you won't keep them long if you don't have the mob to back it up. I happen to like moving about the map and capping over my limit won't allow that so buying turfs does. Plus there are about 3 players that I can cap from at this point between influence restrictions and mob size. So for me I etiher cap from a small few and piss them off or keep buyin turfs. Or drop influence and get back in normal inf range but i'm currently too lazy for that. Buyin turfs will get old sooner or later though.

im one of those by the way. My turfs are bought and payed for. I agree with you tek the lists should show hard work and not money spent. i put money into my max just because i hate being stuck in one place. i think the influence list should be changed to most turfs captured. This would fairly show those who put in the work

an easy solution might be to make a "most capped" list
not sure what else u want. i dont think u r better or worse or earned it more or less than anyone else just based on whether someone punched in a bunch of codes or punched the "buy henchman" button ... it's about the person who plays and how they play.

Exactly. You can buy all the turfs and henchmen you want and at the end of the day if your a D-bag, someone or a group of people will just tear em down.

But you can still keep your turf limit can't you so you place em all again at the end of the day, I wouldn't mind seeing a caps list too, though I don't think we should eliminate a list either : )

I'd like to see a cap list. It would likely encourage capping, too.

I don't mind not being on the top anymore. but I just miss the times when a bunch of people were head to head. I can't compete with the kids that are coming up now. it would be really nice to lay down a new turf tho. just to be able to name it. many of my orignal bases have long since been captured or demolished.

u could tear them all down and start buying limit
and we're not all kids. not sure why u don't see u made ur own bed. nobody told u to cap everything in sight from norwalk to nyc. just sayin

Tek is up there with the great tw players and I think the ppl playing for a while know who these players r tho there may be others laying turfs by buying mega pks. They are just boards. And if one's ego needs to be secure by being up there, all the best to them too . But V & Pres ILL r right too. So I guess we all just have to find what works best for us.

I didn't buy my limit to be on the list. I bought it for the power and freedom I have to move around without having to make enemies everywhere I go. That's all there is to it.
