Error was made and I apologized but continue to be "slapped down", a better approach would have been a warning and not completely Being leveled. All I did was share a joke and a thank you with a reference to my code. I wasn't trolling for posts or invites.
Just telling a pretty good joke!
Again, sorry for the offense but again a better approach would have been a warning from the elder/senior players.

Stop acting like the victim here. Saying sorry, and then telling the person you are apologizing to how they should have acted isn't an apology. An apology is admitting a mistake and making amends. You are trying to share blame, and circumvent being humble. You know what happens when you post a code in GD. No vet player is required to come and remind you of the punishment. You are wrong. Your action caused it.

Yeah but sometimes big players go overkill too. He was wrong. That's for sure. I did it once after playing for a month. But I had not been a forum poster at all. Luckily for me all that happened was mystery informed to read the TOA or whatever. I'm not saying he's right. But damnit it'd be nice for someone besides a noob (who is typically forced anyways) to man up and be like "sigh, you know what. Your right. I went a little overboard. My bad" After the noob is like "I didn't know that was wrong ok got it now" and it be over.

Thank you all.. The back story is I did apologize to all offended by me breaking the rules. I did see my error and mistake when a kind turfer informed me of my error. I apologized again. Not looking for any sympathy. Just trying to make right by all after a tough beating . Love the wambullance crack- love the humor. It all started with a good joke on the wrong forum - did anyone like the joke? Testing new material. Looks like i made a common mistake - it seems. Again my bad. My error.
