Umm benadryl..claritin-D?

👆👆 Those will make you sleepy. I take Zyrtec, which is now over-the-counter (no prescription required.) If you don't know what you are allergic to though you should really see an allergist that can tell you what you're allergic too & how to avoid it.

I can sympathize, I'm in the same boat...I'm allergic to grass apparently & this year in Southern California was bad with all the rain we got. Fortunately my allergy season is pretty much over.~Matt~ wrote:

I usually use the Claritan Ready Tabs which is hit or miss whether it works or not. I think Zyrtec just came out with liquid gels, might be worth a try.

Well thats good news for you atleast. I think ill try going to my doctor and see what he says.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

I live in your area, and you aren't alone. Since I moved up here 15 years ago, every spring is hell.

We've been breaking records on grass and tree pollen here in Houston. I think it had to do with a very abnormal cold winter. Soooo many plants having to grow back than usual. And all at one time.

Holy sheets I'm dying all of a sudden. I never had pollen allergies till I quit smoking A few years ago now I'm dead when pollen hits. Must have just got bad today cause I went outside 5 mins ago and now I can't see and my throat is scratching like crazy. Stupid tree sex!!

Clarityn works very well for me, no drowsiness
-
Regular Claritin or Claritin-D Scroobius? It's the Claritin-D that is more likely to make you sleepy, although obviously medicines effect people differently. I tried Claritin & it didn't work for me, so they put me on Zyrtec, when it was still a prescription. 😋

Oh I take cingulair or something like that. It's prescription but it's works different than most meds. Seems to work for me as far as getting stuffy and sneezing goes. I still need drops for my eyes though.

Looks like I'm not alone haha! Damn pollen!
