I'm 16 and saving up for an engagement ring to ask my girl to marry me. Do u think it's a bad idea to get married at such a young age

Don't expect the marriage to last more than perhaps five years. Other than that, it'll be fun and teach you what you need to know in order to make your second marriage ten times better.

Dam. Well let's see I'm 19 and am just starting to think about marrage with my girl of 6 months. We are currently living together and have had our ups and downs. So I would have to say wait it out a bit man

I would say wait, I got married at 21 and it didn't last. Because if you get married and have kids and it doesn't last who is it going 2 hurt more? Yeah the kids.

You're waaay too young kid. Get your life in order so that at least you can go into the marriage with more than a learners permit. You're gonna see tons of girls in your lifetime. Give yourself at least until 25 and if you see her as the one you want, jump all the way in with no chute and your hands cuffed behind your back.

Why do you want to get married? What does it give you? It is not the shibboleth of love. All it is is a contract with your state which is recognised by most other states in the world. It's a political and ideological covention. Love is so much more.

this is probably the best advice you will get, listen to ttt. You don't need to get married, you can just be together until bothbof you are established on your ideals and get a good foundation for your future

I am not going to even read the rest of this thread. Once I read you are 16 abs asking about marriage I immediatly decided you are a dumbass. You are young and got plenty of years ahead of you. Don't settle down for one person just yet.

Listen to your parents if anyone. That's who should be asking this serious question to.aybe they don't want your g friend and your first concern should be graduating high school. I know your in love she gave up the goods and yor amazed by how that felt but think it through. Don't burden the people around you with such a naive decision such as getting married at your age.
